A cherry blossom wedding theme inspiration zone at a wedding fair inspired engaged couple George and Natasha to have something similar at their own wedding venue.

We met George and Natasha at a wedding fair at the Bear Hotel, Hungerford. They were in the throes of planning their wedding and came to see the venue dressed up as if for a wedding breakfast.

They had already booked the Riverside Suite at the Bear Hotel for their wedding reception and were looking for inspiration for their wedding decor.

Some Images from George and Natasha’s Cherry Blossom Wedding Day

Hydrangeas, roses and peonies were the main florals used to create the blush pink flower wall backdrop for the top table at this cherry blossom wedding. The floral decor for the top table was a gift from the bride’s aunt.

Find out more about our flower walls here.

A flower wall is quite the most fabulous way to inject some ‘oooh’ and ‘aaaahh’ into your venue decor. Whatever the occasion you’re celebrating, look no further than our stunning floral backdrops to form a stunning focal area at your venue. We have two to choose from: the Rosella and the Floralie. It’s the Rosella flower wall that you see here. It offers floral flexibility because we can customise its top section to complement your décor and colour scheme.

Not only does a flower wall offer colour flexibility it has functional flexibility – you can use it more than once. It might form the backdrop for your ceremony and then be situated behind the top table. Or it could be a backdrop for the photographs.

We do have other wedding backdrops for hire though and you can find more on that here.

Centerpieces created with cherry blossoms - Venue styling was created by Fabulous Functions UK

This cherry blossom-themed wedding decor used cherry blossoms and log slices for the centrepieces. Mercury tea light holders and wooden table numbers for each table finished the look.

Rustic themed floor standing post box available to hire from Fabulous Functions UK

The rustic floor-standing post box ensured that the guests had a safe place in which to leave their well-wishing cards for Natasha and George. It added a lovely rustic element to the decor and that was so much in keeping with the wedding theme.

This gorgeous naked cake was displayed on a fabulous wood slice and surrounded by gypsophila and foliage

Natasha and Georges chose a naked cake for their wedding and it was displayed on a huge log slice surrounded by gypsophila and foliage.

Each table had a log slice at its centre and the cherry blossom centrepieces were placed on these. They were surrounded by tea lights in gold-toned mercury tea light holders. Each element contributed to the rustic-themed venue decor.
