As a London florist with over 10 years in the wedding industry it was a real pleasure to collaborate with some of the finest wedding professionals to create this beautiful wedding inspiration.

With the InterContinental London Park Lane as the location and the Grade I listed Hyde Park as a backdrop, we had the perfect stage for creating a glamorous wedding inspiration. Thanks to sumptuous interiors and expansive views beyond, this London wedding venue comprised a simply wonderful venue for the shoot. One which, with the greatest of ease, blended ageless sophistication with profound, personal touches. 

The Gown and the Jewellery at the Intercontinental Park Lane

The bride shone in a head-turning haute couture gown created by celebrated designer Sian Hughes Cooke of Shimmering Ivory Couture.  With intricate lace and delicate embroidery, the gown flowed with grace and elegance with her every movement catching the light.

Completing the bridal look, was bespoke diamond jewellery from HP Jewellery —pieces designed to sparkle with both beauty and lasting sentiment.

On Video and Film

Stuart Wood Photography, with his storytelling camera, captured every emotion and every detail. And the brilliant videographer, Joshua Thursby, brought the day to life on film. He too captured laughter, joy and those quiet, almost-missed, glances.

Hair Stying and Accessorizing

Bespoke Hair by Nicola styled the bride’s hair into a soft, romantic look topped with a handcrafted headdress.

The work of Jayne of Camille-Accessories, the headdress comprised hand painted flowers, mixed with fine Austrian crystals and beads. Regal yet modern too, the pairing finished the whole stunning ensemble to perfection. 

The Florals

Fabulous florals designed by Sandra of Fabulous Functions UK formed a stunning backdrop for the ceremony, led by the warm and eloquent celebrant Jennifer Patrice.

The floral aisle was adorned with blooms in soft, dreamy hues from a palette of subtle blues and buttery yellows, the floral arrangements brought a lush, whimsical feel to the day, creating an atmosphere of magic and romance.

A sweetheart table was set in the Grays Room at the Intercontinental Park Lane for the couple to enjoy a moment of calm while still being in the centre of the celebrations.

From the ceremony to the reception, the space was filled with elegant, seasonal florals that complemented the overall aesthetics flawlessly.

The Groom

Looking quite the epitome of sartorial elegance was the groom in his white tuxedo suit by Brigdens.

Guests were welcomed with hand painted stationery by Tanya of TH Designs Studio—each piece carefully crafted on seaweed paper to reflect the couple’s vision and values. 

Let Them Eat Cake

A true highlight of the day came in the form of the breath-taking cake by Ayo of Tabi Cakes. Decorated in hues of muted blues and ivory inspired by the bride’s gown and adorned with delicate handmade sugar flowers this cake was both centrepiece and edible art work.

And So to Bed

As the night drew to a close and city lights twinkled outside, the bride retired in a luxurious silk nightgown by Shimmering Ivory. An elegant ending to a remarkable and memorable day.

 From beginning to end, this InterContinental London Park Lane wedding inspiration made for a stunning celebration of love, style and unforgettable moments. All brought together by a talented team of dedicated wedding professionals.

Fabulous Silk Floral Designs and Alternatives

We love that bouquets don’t always have to have flowers in them. With that in mind, we’ve created some alternatives. Below we show a feather fan with beading details and a pearl and crystal bouquet. We also have a Cala Lily bouquet created in the shape of a half-moon.
